Takeoff

READ MY LIPS! Once the airplane starts the takeoff roll, the MOST CRITICAL evolution in flight begins. This transition between being static on the ground and becoming airborne requires constant eye movement from instrument to instrument while at the same time looking forward to the end of the runway to evaluate heading, runway clearance, drift, wind, etc. Busy, Busy, Busy.
